Amazing Acrobats

Geckos have always been one of my favorite lizards of all time. Their are so many types and morphs of geckos that it is unbelievable. The article that i wrote about is all the information you should need to know about fan-footed geckos. What i like about this article is that it gives useful information on a cool looking gecko. The fan fingered or fan toed gecko gets its name from the phalanges of the gecko, they are kind of the shape of a fan. They have little suction cup pads on the bottom of their feet so they can climb up verticle rocks in their natural habitat. They hirdlike clicking voclizations to communicate with each other and warn off predators, such as "barking". These geckos unlike most are nocturnal and diurnal which means they are active during the night and day. They lack eyelids but don't let that fool you, they have spectacles which is a clear skin that protects their eyes. Captive care for fan footed geckos are beyond easy, all you have to do is make a desert like environment for them to live in. The most perfect size for a cage would be 18x18 and 18 inches deep. but taller could be better too. I would buy one of these geckos because they have a strong characteristic that makes them unique. They all have their own personalities too. You could get one at a reptile show or even a reptile breeder for about 30 dollars or more.
