How to Breed Ball Pythons

VMSHERP.COM
I choose this article online because i wanted to learn how to breed ball pythons. I am looking into making it apart of my project next tri and i wanted to learn a little bit more on how to breed. What i liked about this reference is that it helps me understand that when breeding your ball pythons it isn't just throw two snakes together, it actually takes a lot of work to do. You have to time the dates right and depend it based on your snake. When breeding ball pythons you have to be positive on the sex of your snake. If you aren't sure you can take the your snake(s) to the vet and have them probed for a for sure sex. Not only that, but the timing has to be right too. Most ball pythons have a certain part of the season when they are most fertile. The temperatures of the cage also helps out too. The warmer and humid it is the best chances you have. But is breeding your ball python the thing you really want to do? When breeding ball pythons you have to make sure that they are at the right age and weight. If they are too skinny then they could end up dying due to the fact that your snake will not eat for a month or two. Also if the snake is too young then breeding it may not be the best thing to do. Knowing that it is not sexually mature and your snake could really be harmed. Just wait and you'll eventually get lucky. After your hard work has payed off and you finally get a clutch of eggs you will have to incubate them to survive. Meaning that they will be kept in the right temperatures and humidity they need to stay warm and hatch. 88-92 degrees is more of a prefered temperature to keep your eggs and let them hatch in.
