Swift and Spiny

I choose this article because the Emerald Swift on the cover attracted me by its colors. the article was full of factful information about why they are called either swifts or spiny lizards. Swifts because they are so fast or spiny because well, they're spiny. It indicated where the emerald swifts are found, and where you could find one to attempt to catch.  I would purchase a Emerald Swift just because it's blueish colors, but it would certainly not be handable. if you want a lizard that you would want to handle this lizard would not be for you. If they are right for you, swifts are offered any where from pet stores to specialty breeders. But since they are so inexpensive, they aren't often breed. Most hobbyiest will gather them from the wild and sell them.
