Spiders usually disgust me. I hate them and almost every thing about them. Until recently when i discovered that they aren't that bad.. Well that was after i held a tarantula of course. What i like about this article is that it gives you information that helps ease the fear of arthropods. It tells you why they are out there and what their functions are, not to bite you and attack you. Things that i learned from this article is that most spiders are all the same. They all have 2 pedipalps which are like hands that they use to grasp their prey. They also have organs that store sperm. They have hallow fangs that secrete a venom that liquifies their preys internal organs that makes it a lot easier to consume. Spiders have an exo-skeleton they protects their bodies and 8 legs to go with. Spiders bodies are divided into two major body regions: cephalothorax and the abdomen. There are two types of fangs, the infra-order arancomorphae, which is all of the small house spiders such as the web weavers. The other kinds are the infraorder Mygalomophae which is all of the tarantula, trap-door spiders. You can get a tarantula at any pet store for about 10 dollars or more, and each species depends on the level of difficulty of the owner.
